    Hi Everybody,
I heard a piano piece a while ago, and then I heard it again yesterday. I don't know the name or composer. It could be something by Schumann or Beethoven, Brahms...etc, and I can only give you the first six notes. So let's play, "Name That Tune".

It's in 3/4 time (possibly). First measure (not sure of the key) two eighth notes B down to A then up to half note C. Second measure: two eighth notes B down to A then up to half note G.

I want to learn this piece and hope someone knows what it is. It's stuck in my head and driving me crazy.

We need more clues. Did your hear it on the radio/TV? Which time and what day? Most radio/TV schedules exist on Internet.

The first time I heard the piece was background music on a travel show I was watching on PBS. (public broadcasting station). The show was on the Rhine River region on Germany. It may have been titled the Romantic Germany, or something like that which is why I first thought Schumann. I've looked for the video tape of the show but so far cannot find it. Then yesterday on an airplane I heard the piece again when I was listening to the classical music station that was piped in to the United Airlines system. The announcer said what every piece was except this one.
