Hello all! I have to play for a conducting class next week and they are reading Beethoven's 7th Symphony. I thought it would be helpful to have a piano reduction (such as Liszt's) but I don't have the time nor money to get it. Is there any chance anyone on the forum has a pdf of something like that? Thanks!
I assume that's what you look for: http://www.henseltlibrary.org/scores3.html (look for kalkbrenner he wrote a transcr.) or http://www.henseltlibrary.org/scores4.html (look for singer he wrote a transcr.)
Wow - that's a neat site! Can't believe all the stuff they have. There's even someone named Count Zichy who wrote a transcription of Chopin's "Military" Polonaise for the left hand alone. Can you believe that? I bet that's fun (not)! Maybe John R. should check it out.
Yeah this site is really excellent, especially because there is a lot of rare played and never heard classical and romantic stuff. Btw, you can find their even a lot of cramer-bülow and czerny etudes, but like most etudes of those guys, they're terribly boring.....
