What is your favorite interpretation of the etude in D minor? There are several versions that use different and sound but all of them should have something in common. For example one of my favorite pianists Ashkenazy uses a more staccato and detached opening of the piece while Volodos and Lugansky use a more sustained and legato style ... re=related (Lugansky) and (Volodos) While this pianist Alexander Gavrylyuk uses a more dragged version. ... re=related
I would love to know all of your opinions and which version you like best, maybe a version that was not included ^^
