Hmm, Chris, is it just me or do people seem to have missed your sarcasm here? Yesterday, I was going to mention something about how Captain Obvious would have enjoyed this conversation, but then thought better of it. Oops, there I go putting my foot in it again

    Hi Andreas,

I had a listen to yours and Chris's performance, nice work! I think this is the classical piece that everybody has heard of, perhaps aside from the nutcracker  . I think my sister use to have this on her phone as a ringtone (the strings version no doubt :)).

I agree with your statement, that for three hours for practice and recording the work done was worth a post!

Now to listen to your Vyserhad.. 8)

I´m sure, this must sound like original strings on your sisters mobile phone!  Concerning the level of well-knownness the Nutcracker is equal to the g-minor-symphony, but I think, the g-minor is much more profound!

I´m glad. It´s not perfect (mainly in synchronization), but worth a listen, I think.

I also will listen to your new recordings as soon as possible. See you!

    Hi Chris and Andreas,

Another fine collaboration! I just watched the video. You played with clean articulation of touch, phrased very well, used judicious pedal, and were in coordination throughout. The performance was quite expressive too, and although controlled, had a certain freedom as well. Congratulations on this achievement!

Beautiful work, especially if we account for the small number of rehearsals ! The arrangement sounds very nice, too. Congratulations,

Thanks David and Francois for your kind comments. Just imagine what might have emerged with proper rehearsal and more generous recording time

    Dear David and Francois,
thank you very much for your kind and encouraging comments. I have listened back to our recordings on a self-burned DVD-Audio the last days and I feel it to be a difference like day and night compared with mp3. Yes, there are some small slips, but musically it comes out quite well, I think, and at least it was a huge pleasure to play it. :)
