Mompou plays Chopin

    Here is a very interesting video (at least to people interested in both Mompou and Chopin)! But Mompou's rendition here is very different from any other version I have heard. He adds so many notes...to me it sounds like it's more than just improvising and instead like it's from an actual score. Though, one I have never seen/heard before. Does anyone have a different score of this waltz than what is normally played?

    Well it says he's playing the Chopin-Mompou waltz, so I guess he concocted his own embellished version. It sounds not unlike a Godowsky transcription in fact.

    Oh, I didn't really read that title before. Guess that means it is Mompou's. I like all those thirds he adds there toward the end.
