    I hope you stay dry, M! I'm always amazed at the amount of real estate affected by these tropical cyclones. I wouldn't be surprised if our friends in Canada and even Europe feel the effects!

    Sometimes, these storms can end up circling the globe a couple of times, in one form or another!!!

    Just for fun, I'll track the path of Ike and its resultant extratropical cyclone.

    Here he is around western New York.

    Ike has left the premises! Wow....what a lot of rain we had this weekend. I now can claim to have river-front property (the river is supposed to be across the street but all streams and rivers are flooded way over their banks.) Our basement survived, though. :D
