Hi, so I have a competition coming up soon that needs two contrasting pieces for solo piano from two different eras of Western classical music including Baroque, Classical, Romantic, and Twentieth Century. It also must contain up to 15 mins max.

    I was thinking of playing

Chopin- Sonata in B flat minor, Op. 35 mov. 1

but i'm having trouble coming up with something that'll be able to contrast it, so any suggestions would be great.

Im also open to any other suggestions or opinions on whether I should play the Chopin or not.
    Thanks!

15 minutes max? With the Chopin that'll give you 9-10 minutes for another piece. It's a good choice, by the way, if you can handle it.

    Good contrasts:
-A Well-Tempered Clavier Prelude and Fugue. Never fails, as long as it isn't an overplayed pair.
-A slow Ligeti etude, such as Arc-en-Ciel, if you have the patience for it.

Here is a site I made which may help you with choosing competition repertoire.
