Hello Andreas. hello Chris, how nice you met at Chris' home and you used the opportunity and recorded the dvorak and the Mozart. Your performance at four hands sounds really well co-ordinated
and you catch the bohemian feeling especially in the second one op.71 No.2. The Gaveau sounds so good and clear it's apleasure to listen to. Also the F-major Mozart sonata K.V.497 is a succerssful recording particularly the first and second movement. The interpretation is careful and at the same time full of spirits.
I find that especially in the change of dynamics but also in the distinctness of rhythm. You did a very good job in a relatively short time. Playing a quatre mains is a special pleasure. I did a lot of it with Andreas when he was young and I still remember it as a wonderful experience. At that time Jos. Haydn was our guide. We did the 24 London Sinfonies with rising pleasure and I am still grateful thet Andreas was such a good companion. A curious thing happened while was listening to the third movement of the Mozart Sonata.Without using the mouse a performance of Mozart's
Sonata in F-major K.V.332 interfered. It appeared under You Tube: Truecrypt plays Mozart connected with a foto of Mozart' s family and later with a portrait of Mozart himself. Especially the third movement was brilliantly executed. Of course I don't who t r u e c r y p t can be. never heard this name. Let me finish with congratulations on your wonderful performances. Francois.-

Thank you Francois ! Musically and temperamentally it seems Andreas and me are well matched.

But I find it especialy difficult to play 4-hand or on two pianos, because while you are playing you think you are well together, and then when you listen back you hear that you are not. Everything must be timed absolutely impeccably together, or else it will sound stuttering. This is not such a problem when playing with other instruments.
