No. I am here on business not pleasure (then again, some people's business is pleasure while some people's pleasure is business? see: gene wilder's skit in the movie "Don't start the revolution without me" on Youtube).

Besides I dont want to do to my parents what my father did to his when he moved to the US in 1980. It's too hard on everyone when the child lives 5000 miles away.,

My mother did the same thing; she left her family in Germany to marry my father and live in the US. And my cousin married an Australian man and now lives in Australia. Talk about being far from her family! Much easier to stay in your own country, but when love beckons....

I will have to take a picture of me wearing my cougar hunter t-shirt (and pants)! It's a magnet like a wedding ring.

Hey Juufa, I had missed the latest news. Now you are on THIS side of the Atlantic! I see you solved your main issues (healthy food & gals) and a job is almost on its way. Anyway, you are lucky to be here in Europe during the Obama era, after all it's him who got the Nobel Peace Prize, not the former president. :p

PS: post some pics of you cougar hunter garment soon!

Oh, Juuf! Now you're on THAT side of the atlantic _and_ THAT side of the Equator.

    :)

Have a nice time. Be sure to post some photos, I've seen your photography and I look forward to seeing some pics.

Alf: look at my "location" indicated by the number of posts I have. The only English channels I get are BBC, EuroNews, and DW-Tv (when airing English programs). And these channels are too socialist for my taste and pretty much eat anything that Obama and his communists give them. For instance, there were plenty of tea parties and uproar by the citizens concerning massive government takeovers and the rate at which government is growing, and these protests were for the most part promoted by the people and lacked any sponsorship from interest groups or politicians. But EuroNews had a segment stating that "Special interest groups [e.g. these protests and tea parties] are getting in the way of America's healthcare reform."

    Socialists..... *vomit*.

All: I will try to upload photos when I can, but I dont ahve the means and the tools to do so.

Juufa, I was replying to this of yours: "I have to be careful because I am an American and that's no longer a good thing (Thanks Commisar Obama "messiah")". It's actually the opposite. As an American you're generally pretty much safer outside your country now with Obama than ever (with GWB). By the way, it was the latter who proposed Poland to host a major NATO military installation. So, leave the Russians alone and go tour around. :D

It's great that you've got internet now... I don't know how you've managed to live without it. I would've gone insane!

Terez: there is a saying--you dont know how much you miss it until you dont have it. I know that you missed me

Alf: so when are you coming to visit me? Or should I visit you? But I really dont want to be caught up in all the corruption and mess that is the Italian government, :?

Sarah: Adaptation is key. When in Rome do what the Romans do. That means for a while I was going to the sole Internet cafe and fed off the wireless networks when I was at my company lessons

Cheap shot, Juuf. But bear in mind that one of the powerful supporting groups of Berlusconi and Co. is the Vatican together with the more conservative among the catholic voters.

HA, true. Currently I have no plans to visit Poland (I'd like though, since I've never been there), but if you feel like to come to Northern Italy we can arrange to meet up.
