    Hello, Folks!

It's Polonaise season in the Piano Society. Everybody grab your pairs and let's get-a-dancing (see picture for instructions).

This time it's the polonaise in G minor of unknown authorship (Bach?), BWV Anh. 119 from the 1725 notebook for Anna Magdalena Bach.

    As always, comments are wilkommen.

    :)

    Cheers

    Marcelo.

Guten Tag, Marcelo. :) This is up. Sounded good to me.

I sometimes wish I lived back in those days so I could dance around like that.

I love both your recording (well-played, kind of 'groovy', excellent sound - what instrument do you play?) and the picture. Brings us some sunshine in these dreary and rainy November days, doesn't it?

    Thanks for sharing!

    Daniel

Thanks! This recording was done using a Clavinova CVP-307, using the "Mellow Piano" setting.

The music has a very elegant air that conveys nicely to the listener. The picture is fun too; I want to be the guy holding his hat up in the air.
