About Piano Society

The Piano Society project was started in August 2004 by Robert Ståhlbrand, Erik Helling and Joffrey Wallaart as a non-profit organisation. It offers unique possibilities for professional and amateur pianists to promote themselves by sharing their own recordings of classical piano music on the Internet.

Pianists interested in participating should register and post at least three recordings of varying styles in the Audition Room forum. The recordings will be evaluated by the Music Board. When the recordings are accepted, the pianist must submit a short biography and a picture to be seen on their personal page in the "ARTISTS "category of the main site.

Composers can also submit their recordings and be evaluated in the same manner as pianists. However, in addition, composers need to submit three recordings of themselves playing works from other classical composers.
