Has anyone experimented with the mic models on the Zoom H4? If so, have you noticed any appreciable difference? And if so, which have you found best for recording acoustic piano?

Thanx, Monica, for the heads up.

I will peruse those threads with relish (and maybe some mustard).

    Hi,
I have experimented a bit with these modells, but for me the difference isn´t too significant. I prefer the U87, because it´s the old legendary Neumann model, but, of course, this imitation can´t reach the quality of this noble historical microphone in reality. For me, that Neumann-modell is the best for recording piano-music.
