I would have serious reservations about any piano that's been stored it's side like that. Gravity will end up deforming the hammer shanks. Aeolian had a lot of brands under it's umbrella at one time or another, including Mason & Hamlin. However, they tended towards mediocrity. I would suspect that this Stroud is a PSO. In your situation, I recommend looking for a used Kawai or Yamaha vertical, and have it inspected by an independent tech. It will be a much better piano than either of the two you mention here.
