Hi, i just looked for a keyboard with 88es and i found yamaha p85.I am looking for a stage piano, digital piano or a midi controller with 88es to conect it in a midi device and then to play from ivory synthology.I don't care about the voice of speakers (if it have) ,but i care the most about the keyboard quality. I want to have a good feeling of a realistic piano.I found yamaha p85 at the internet but i don't try it.I would know about p85 and i would be pleased if you suggest me a cheap pianos or midi controllers with a good keyboard and midi device.I care only for this.I remind you i haven't high economical afford !!
    Thank you in advance...!!

I have a yamaha P85 down in my basement that unfortunately doesn't work anymore, and the parts I need to fix it are no longer available. I just haven't been able to bring myself to throwing it out yet. This model has been out of production for a while now. When it worked it had a pretty good keyboard feel, as a midi controller it was limited but if you're only looking to do Piano voices it is adequate (it won't do Layers and splits, and sends on a single channel at one time). If you can get one in working order a a bargain basement price go for it. Don't spend a lot of money on one though because if it fails you may not be able to get some of the parts needed to repair it.

Yeah, since I don't hear about Yamaha P85 anymore, maybe you, or anyone out there planning to buy such digital piano, I guess you need to check first if last long enough that they can also supply with the parts the you'll might need in the near future.

    Bumpty-bump :D
I think none of these posters are here anymore, certainly not the OP who has never bothered to respond to the reply he got (which admittedly was a topic bump in itself).
