Shucks... I already voted on Beethoven. I guess we'll never know. Anyone to the rescue?

I respect Beethoven a great deal, although I've always liked only his odd-numbered symphonies. I've never much cared for the even-numbered ones. That aside, I do recall that Brahms (for whom I voted) spent an inordinate amount of time working on his Symphony No. 1--he really fretted over it. Finally at its premiere it was hailed by the critics as the "Beethoven 10th" which was quite a tribute to Brahms. I would bet that Beethoven himself would have liked it too.

I would vote for Beethoven, but it isn't allowing me to vote. Has PS instituted a Poll Tax??? :?

I adore Brahms and his symphonies, I'm just more fond of the Beethoven Symphonies.

Nah, we just think polls are silly, and why should one composer be better than another ?

But really, I don't know what the problem can be. I temporarily assumed your identity (admins can do that, nothing fishy about it) and was able to cast the Beethoven vote on your behalf. No idea why that would not have worked for you ! Is it worth sorting out ? I tend to think not.

While you are assuming my identity, would you assume my bills??

It is possible that I did vote, and not seeing the original date of the poll, I forgot. They do say that the mind is the second thing to go.
