PS has been unreachable for a while because the domain had expired without anyone getting notified. Our Swedish site owner resolved it and all should be fine now
Great to see Piano Society back up on the net. I couldn't imagine what had happened. Glad everything is back to normal. I even posted a Scriabin etude to celebrate the return of the website! David
Ironically, there was nothing wrong with the site itself. Only the domain naming service (which routes requests for pianosociety.com to the appropriate IP address) was suspended. This should not longer happen now, or if it does, we'll get notified early.
I habe had the same thing happen, though my provided at least sent thretening letters out (based in Berlin they were) and placed a page on the suspended site, saying they were sorry and bla bla bla.
Once more we are up after an outage of almost a day. This time it was hardware problems at PRQ (the internet provider). They resolved it in the timeframe they said they would.
