I watched nearly all the concerts from Verbier festival, Swiss at medici.tv last year (the presented artists are very good including my beloved Argerich!) and I got a following newsletter from medici.tv. Enjoy! Dear Internet users, Many of you took in our internet broadcasts of the Verbier Festival concerts last summer, and signed up to receive further information from Medici Arts. medici.tv is delighted to announce the opening of its site, www.medici.tv as of 15 May 2008, and cordially invites you to visit it soon. medici.tv offers you free live broadcasts of prestigious concerts (Aspen Festival, Aix-en-Provence and the Verbier Festival, starting on 20 June), as well as a film catalogue containing 100 items available in VOD (Video on Demand) and including filmed concerts, thrilling portraits of musicians and composers, and documentaries. From 20 to 29 June, you can watch and listen to 10 live concerts at the prestigious Aspen Festival in the USA. These concerts will then be available free for 60 days, and will enable you to get know exciting musicians like the violinist Joshua Bell, the Emerson and Takacs String Quartets, and conductors Marin Alsop and David Zinman. On 22 June, you can be virtually present at the world premiere of American composers John Harbison's new composition: The Great Gatsby Suite. You can also slip backstage at the Aspen Festival while watching interviews with musicians and master classes given to the students at the summer academy.
Oh, thank you for this information! I am thrilled about it and can't wait to watch some of the festivals.
