    Hello,
I' m eighteen years old and learned piano since I' m six.
I play a lot of Chopin, Liszt, Beethoven and also Rachmaninoff, maybe if I have the occasion I' ll post some recordings of my own.

I' ve recently composed a waltz; this is my first composition and I tough it was a nice idea to share it on this forum.
Any comments will be apreciated. :)

I registered it with my mp3 player, and remastered it trough Cubase LE4 to remove the noisy sounds, so the sound can be a bit too low.

I started to compose other pieces, that I' ll post as I finish them. :)

    Kenneth,

    Hello Ryan,
I'm afraid you will not get much encouragement here. Composing is a great thing, and I admire anybody who does it, but, to put it mildly, these waltzes are not really very good, being full of hesitations, strange harmonies and clumsy rhythms. To make it worse, the sound is bloody awful. I don't want to discourage you composing, but you'll need to do a whole lot better than this to get some interest. If you aspire to compose, you need to have something convincing to say, and do it in an eloquent, structured and well-sounding way. If Waltzes appeal to you, lend your ear to the great masters (Chopin, Strauss, Tchaikovsky, Schubert, to name some).

    Hello techneut,

    Thank you for the comment.
It s true, those pieces are more like littles improvisation excercice indeed, but I puted them into a form that would resemble like waltzes to make it easier.
