Hello all, I've had a Sony video camcorder for some time now and haven't used it too extensively aside from taking some brief clips, but I would like to get into doing more video. Of course, it goes without saying the sound quality on the camcorder's internal mic with the clips I have taken was dreadful. many of the video clips I have seen on the forum seem quite good both audio- and video-wise, so I thought I would ask for any advice members might have in this area. Do most people sync the audio and video? I have heard some talk online about hooking an external mic into a jack on the camcorder, but it doesn't seem that mine has one. I know there are probably earlier posts on this topic, but I wasn't too successful in searching for them, so any advice people have or setups they are using would be much appreciated. Joe
I have used an external recorder and synced it up by eye on the computer. You align the good recording with the bad one and zoom in all the way to get it perfect.
