Hi all, There has been continued uncertainty on how who / how to update your Artist page on Piano Society. On the old system, Monica or Chris would both add your recordings to the Piano Society database as well as update your Artist page. In the new system, we ask to lessen the administrative load that you update and maintain your own artist pages. To do this, we integrated your Artist page with your profile page on this forum. 1. Go to the upper right hand corner of any page while logged in, you will see the links of "<your username>, Inbox, Alerts". 2. Click on the link to <your username> ( in my case that is jordanr ); a pop up will appear. 3. Click on "Personal Details" in the popup. 4. Scroll down to the "About Me" at the page bottom. Your Artist page will be displayed when users navigate to you via the "Artists" link in the menu in the upper left hand side of any page. This is the menu that goes "Home, Forums, Artists, Members .... " You are free to organize your Artist page however you like. Some examples: Andreas: http://www.pianosociety.com/members/musicusblau.3912/ Monica: http://www.pianosociety.com/members/pianolady.49/ Francois: http://www.pianosociety.com/members/francois-de-larrard.4369/ Richard: http://www.pianosociety.com/members/richard66.4909/ Please let me know any questions.
Hi, everybody, after 2 years long absence I've just returned with Chopin/ Barcarolle. Please criticize it without any hesistation! I cannot be satisfied with any kind of pianist's interpretations of this work including Rubinstein, Argerich, Zimmerman etc. It is the reason why I begun with touching piano. They are all for me headstrong without perspective or with too much emotion, arbitrary. This interpretation is an attempt based on the neoclassical reading being released from conventional romantic enthusiasm at the same time making a clear distance from the Neue Sachlichkeit and Mannerism typically used by Gould.
To update your profile on these platforms, go to the upper right's "Goodies" Menu, select "Streaming Service Stuff," and then "Your Artist Bio." You can use this Artist Bio buy custom coursework Tool to upload a short bio, social media links, and a profile photo!
