Cripes, looks like a piece of dental equipment. The bench looks ready to swallow you up any moment.
My manners prevent me from telling you what I thnk it looks like.
Only new management would allow such distinguished names as Shimmel and Bosendorfer to make such ... "instruments."
It makes me feel the exact same way as when I first learned Porshe was making an SUV. WHAT!
Heck, it looks like the tooth!!!
It does sort of look like a tooth. Eddy, does your unmentionable item vibrate perhaps? No....don't tell me...I'm too delicate!
But I would not turn down a Porshe SUV if someone wanted to give me one. Wonder if Porshe has designed a grand piano like Audi did (another ugly piano a few posts up from here)?
you've just confirmed my suspicion.
Perhaps I have a problem, but if the sound is quality, the look is not a concern. : :?
It's monstrously ugly yet makes a spectacular statement about bad taste..
Looks are most definitely a concern! Anyone playing this horribly ugly piano would look like a fool and not be taken seriously. However, the other way around - ugly person playing nice-looking piano - is just fine!
I'm afraid to play this piano. It might turn into Optimus Prime.
Here is another interesting one
 :? :|
Ah, a pedal piano. Schumann wrote some music for one. It is actually a similar configuration to a pedal harpsichor.
It's not really 'ugly', but I'm not sure I could play this piano. I think it would give me a headache. Or maybe want to play lots of jungle music...
To play any serious music on this "zebra" would be a crime! I'm ashamed it's a Baldwin.
I used to be working on a piece called Zebra Stripes :!:
Well, planning to work on it, anyway. Never quite got into it.
Were you 10 years old at the time?
57, actually. And it's a damn hard piece by the novelty composer Lothar Perl. I was working on 3 or 4 pieces by him but got distracted as usual.
Just stumbled upon this one....
Now this I like!
