    Never mind Richter and Sofronitski ... now that we have got you ! :p

    The fact that these pianists may not have recorded this great sonata does not, I think, imply they have ignored it, and the same goes for the pianists on this site. I for one love playing it, and I am sure there are others here. After all it is one of his best and most popular, together with the adjacent C minor and B flat major sonatas.

    I did not listen to all of this yet (got to have some time, and the right mindset, to cope with Schubert's heavenly lenghts) but this is quality playing as usual. Not a note out of place. I am not sure I agree with all your interpretational decisions, but that is a matter of taste. I fond the digital sound is a bit too bright and tinkly here, a bit irritating to be blunt about it. I wonder if there is some setting to make it sound a bit more like a real piano ?

    Also here I agree with you. Possible a problem of recording level.
