Years ago I already played the Impromptus no. 2-4 in my piano lessons. In 2006 and 2007 I made the recordings - this time also with op. 90 no. 1. I just listened to R. Hokanson's recording and liked it very much because he played it with very much expression.

This seems to be the first complete recording of op. 90 on the site - if it's accepted.

Schubert - Impromptu Op. 90, No. 1 in c minor

Schubert - Impromptu Op. 90, No. 2 in E-flat Major

Schubert - Impromptu Op. 90, No. 3 in G-flat Major

Schubert - Impromptu Op. 90, No. 4 in A-flat Major

Thank you! Cut short in what way? Technical? I just downloaded no. 1 and it plays the correct length of 08:40 minutes.

    Hi Harald,

All movements played all the way through for me, and I have put them up on the site. Please check all links.

I have not played these, so I cannot offer any useful critique. But to me everything sounded very nice. You have a soft touch, which fit these, and you do a good job bringing out the melody lines.

I downloaded the files and tested them: They are OK on my computer.

Thank you very much, Monica! Soon I will place some pieces of your favourite composer in the Audition Room ;-)

Ah, it's because I had my volume set a little too low; so it sounded as if you cut the last chord off. But it is there. I just had to turn up the volume.

    Thanks for sharing.

OK! You've done it the right way: Better set the volume too low than too high - I already had some of those loud experiences when having headphones on my ears. Not very nice...
