A very accomplished recording. The sound is a bit distant, it seems, and there are some strange noises at the end which should have been cut out. The RH passagework is not optimally clear and even in some places, and I am sure you are aware of some unfortunate misses on the highest notes. Still well done, though. You have the measure of this piece and all the technique to play it.

What bothers me a bit is how relentless it sounds. This is not Schubert's most vocally inspired piece, but yet there should be some breathing space here and there, perhaps just a little rubato around the phrase transitions. And when you finally ease the flow a bit, it sounds as if it's out of necessity rather than choice (this is in the difficult part). Especially the middle section sounds rather dogged and grim, which I think is mostly due to the militaristic strict tempo. Let some air and sunshine in and you'll be fine with this one.

Woah, pretty impressive playing! You play it very fluid, and there are also dynamics in there. Yes, I agree with Chris about the grim and angry sounding middle part and ending. But why not - what is important, is that at least you put emotions into it, and grim and angry is also an emotion, why not also in a Schubert impromptus. It sounds convincing this way to me.
I think you nailed that demanding piece very well, thank you for sharing.

Not bad at all of this rather difficult Impromptu. Really well played despite the wrong notes (which is really not a big deal). It sounds like you are a bit stressed and tensed when playing and as you play it on the very edge of what you can handle and it would be great if it sounded as you play with a bit more ease. It can go up on the site as well if you wish but I will cut out the noise in the beginning and end.
