Here is my remix of no. 12 ( Einsamkeit) and no. 13 (Die Post). I think, the singer is more in the foreground than in my old versions. Feedback is very appreciated.
Oh, no, I see it must be a mistake with the files. I will renew them tomorrow. Thanks for your message, Didier!
Hi guys, I have reuploaded the files and on my computer it worked all well now. So, please, try it again! I wish you a good sunday, too! Andreas
The balance of Rast is fine ! Unfortunately I cannot say the same about the remix of Die Post. May be there is nothing you can do to get it right because the piano is too loud in the voice channel ?
Thank you, Didier, you are right. That was exactly the problem. I would have to put the microphone of the singer in the other direction, away from the piano to get it more separately. Since I have cardiod mics that could work. But like this I could not get the singer and the piano player together in the video on one picture. I don't know how to solve this problem...
Still I find the beginning of the RH part in Die Post slightly laggîng behind the tempo (some of your groups of dotted eightth-sixteenth-eightth approaching a triplet). But this is minor... As for the mics placement issue, perhaps the singer could try to be closer to the microphone?
Thank you, Francois, for your useful remarks. Seems I'm not able to hear these slightly unprecisenesses concerning the tempo respective rhythm. So there are two possibilities. Either they are very very slightly or I'm not able anymore to recognize such things. Would be interesting to see, what other members say to this issue. Yes, it seems to be a good idea to me to have Michael closer to the mic. At least it would be funny to see him it nearly eating like a rock singer. Seriously, the only problem is, that like this we will see the mjc in the video. That's what we tried to prevent all the time. But may be the technical issue should have first range here, not the optical one.
