Here's the Scarlatti with the appropriate file names, etc.
Again, sorry for the confusion (these are also 192 kbps).
    Thanks,
    Rich

    (from original posting)
Here's 4 Scarlatti sonatas from my doctoral recital.
I programmed 4 in the following structure:
    1. Fast, Major mode
    2. Slow, minor mode
    3. Upbeat in 3, Major mode (like a scherzo)
    4. Upbeat, in "gigue" style, in Major mode.

I tried to construct it in a Classical sonata form, to keep some interest.

    Anyway, hope you enjoy.
The last one in G major gave me some trouble, but I decided against editing it.
Comments and criticisms are always appreciated.
    Enjoy!

Ok, these are up. Three of the four are new to the site so that's good!

These all sounded very nice - a few stumbles here and there but a real good job since this was a live performance. Makes me want to play some Scarlatti today. :)

    p.s. please check all links.

    Hi Rich,
I listened to these yesterday and enjoyed your performances thouroughly. Thanks for these beautiful works. It was considerate of you to give your jury some small things to criticise so they would feel superior.

One of my piano professors would say, "Learn a Scarlatti sonata each week, like taking a vitamin pill."

    Hi Rich,

I had a listen to your Scarlatti Sonatas, they sound nice. It is a show of talent that you play these (all except the e minor) at a reasonably fast tempo and are still able to render the notes clearly and with expression.

I really love Scarlatti. I thoroughly enjoyed your playing on all these sonatas. Very accurate phrasing must be one of your strong points - evident also on the Prokofiev sonata. Bravo for enriching PS's library with these pieces.
