Ciao Roberto, good to see you at last with some of your own compositions. I had expected some gloriously melodic pieces here, and was a bit taken back by the uncompromising modernism of the two solo pieces. Not sure in which school or tradition to place them, if any, but they are hard to get to grips with if one is not versed in avant-garde. Still, interesting material. The My Clocks I did hugely enjoy though. This is really quite funny, and some ingenious noises come forward to mimick the clickings and whirrings of your clocks. The laconic snippet of some fugue or concerto grosso (?) starting at 2:44 made me grin. A fantastic piece of work, and congratulations to all performers. I guess we had better create a composer page for you now ?
Dear Chris: thank you very much. My main activity is as composer. "I miei orologi" is performed by Graziella Concas and Offerta Musicale Ensemble very very well. A presto. Ciao Roberto
These are all up the site, please check if everything is in order. I must confess not hearing any relationship between the BGV and the original Goldbergs....
