In the same informal recital in august as the Beethoven sonata, this was taken with a very old video camera. Some of the students from the summer course wanted to listen to me play something, so I got on the piano and played the Beethoven sonata and a bunch of Rachmaninov etudes. The piano is out of tune and the microphone was much too close to the piano. So the recorded sound is much harder and louder than it actually was (I had to fill a pretty big hall). I haven't posted anything here in a while. I hope you all like it. Ahmed Rachmaninov - Etude Tableaux in D minor, Op. 39, no. 8
This is up, Ahmed. And I wish the sound quality was better, but I could tell that you played this very well.
Thank you. Since I'm back in the "real world" and not studying anymore, its pretty hard to get ideal recordings and pianos for my playing all the time. Especially here in Mexico. I'll try to post some things more often.
