    Hi again, David.
Nice job on this one too! I've put it on the main site. Again, I added your name as the artist in the tags. Also, our naming standard is Rachmaninov, so I changed that and then re-upload it. If Chris sees this, then he should delete the other file I uploaded - the one with Rachmaninoff. Please check all links.

Excellent, David, and thank you - I really like this piece.
Forgive me for being lazy and not including any criticism; it's difficult for me to not take a "tone bath" when I hear this. I'll just say that you bring all the sensitivity that the piece requires, and thank you for not treating it as an athletic event.

    Hi Dave,

This is a wonderful performance and recording from all standpoints. As I recall, this seemed to be Horowitz's favorite Rachmaninov prelude. It's an ingratiating piece of extraordinary beauty that readily captivates an audience. Congrats on your very expressive playing.

    Hi David,

Thanks for your feedback! Yes, I love this piece. I remember the first time I saw Horowitz play it on PBS and was captivated. I have only played a handful of the other preludes and this one, along with the E-flat prelude, is my favorite of the bunch.

    Hi cmudave,

I've played 11 of the preludes including 23/6 in E flat, but I should do more of them. The E flat prelude is slightly sugary but beautiful nonetheless. It presents challenges in a few places, but I'm sure you could play it well based on what I hear in your 32/12.

    David
