I am an adult, beginning piano student and am slowly making my way through Czerny Op. 802. In number 7 there is a notation that just says "etc." I'm not sure what to do with that. I've attached an image of the page but to summarize, a scale from C to G is played with one hand then the other, then play EFGFEFEDC with one then the other, then it says etc. What do they mean? Thank you for any help.

OK, not sure why the image isn't showing up. It is at http://imgur.com/a/Gmxvw

    Hello captenaj,
I think the "etc." mention (et caetera in latin) means "and so on...". In this context, it means that the exercise is first indicated in Cminor (1st measure) and in its major relative, that is Eb major (2nd measure). Czerny is suggesting you continue playing in C# minor (transposing by half a tone) and E major, then D minor and F major and so on...
    Best wishes,
