    Yvan, that sounds very good to me!
    It does not sound strained, instead relaxed and with good tone.
    The recording quality is ok too, I think. Some background noise or resonances for certain keys.
    But your playing is top!

    Well, for a Samick, it does not sound half bad. I've heard worse :wink: Perhaps not as clear as one would want, but pretty decent sound. I did not notice any noises or creaking.

    And nothing but praise for your playing ! These RH runs are fantastic. I think you could be a little more poetical in the quiter bars in between, but apart from that I can't find anything to niggle about.

    Any more where that came from ?

    I have always thought that the right hand runs of this prelude reminds me of little moths flying around my yard just when it's getting dark outside in the summertime. Our patio lights come on, and here come the moths. Your playing is very "moth-like". (that means good! :lol: )

    It 's the first time somebody say to me "your playing is very moth like". The first time i read this post, i was afraid ! :shock: A moth ! What's this ? (I'm french and my english vocabulary is very poor... :oops: ). After watching the english to french dictionary, i have been reassured. "Un papillon de nuit" it's very poetic ! Thank you pianolady!!! i remenber my piano teachers weren't so poetics !

    I think the noises we can hear in my recording could be caused by my piano seat


    :?: I use a MiniDisc with a stereo microphone. Do you think it's an acceptable solution ?


    :?: Techneut, do you think my recording is good enough to be put on the site ?

    I have recorded some four hands pieces (Brahms, Rachmaninov) and i'll upload them soon to the audition room.
