    Hi,

I would apreciate good advise to help me choose between:
    1-Yamaha U3 Silent 1994
    2-Yamaha UX 1980
    3-Yamaha YUS 1982

Please consider they are all in the same very good condition, the price is the same, I live in an apartment and the piano is for my son, who is learning in the second grade and i´m not thinking in trading the piano in the future, I´d like to buy something, if possible, for life.

The first two options are my favorites.

Please give your opinion, it really matters to me.

    Best regards
    Carlos

    Hello Carlos,
I've reviewed the info on these pianos. If you were asking which model is the best, I would recommend the YUS (Super U series). However, the one you're considering is a bit old and may need work depending on the history of use. Given the choices you present, and for the purpose and end given, I think the U3 Silent from 2004 is the best choice, because it is clearly a fine piano for any beginner, but has the added feature of possible silent practicing -- which could be occasionally important in a home that might have (or develop) a dedicated and interested piano student. Good luck!

Thanks a lot, I was convinced the best model was the UX.
I just noticed I gave you the U3 year wrong, it´s not 2004, but 1994.
However, still stands has the best buy, for the "silent mode" and beeing the newest.

I've seen some things about the Yamaha silent. That is undoubtedly the best choice. Your child can practice till their heart is content while you still have peace and quiet.

    THE SILENCE IS BOSS.
