Hi, not wanting to upset anyone but I am a beginner who want to skip learning to read the notes. I am in my forties, I just want to memorize and practice a lot of pieces without picking up all the necessary skills to become a great player. I will never be a mediocre player even and I can live with it. : )
How I tackle the problem is taking notes on the piano keys themselves but that obviously has its limits. So I would require a paper for taking these notes. Is there a best practice you could recommend maybe? Something similar to this, only the top half left blank:

Thanks for any kind of help!
