Is it normal to tear up to Liszt's Hungarian Rhapsody #12? Am I just an abnormal person? I know that Mrs. Monica cries when she hears Chopin...but this is Liszt that I am talking about, bombastic Franz Liszt. One wouldn't think that.

unfortunately it was Cziffra. I really don't care for him too much but he has a few pieces here and there which are really nice. This being one of them.

Now now Mr. Pete, I never said that I cried! Crying means that I was making the typical crying noise and tearing uncontrollably. I said that I teared. There is a huge difference.

Crying is overrated anyways. Tearing is the new thin.

Oh, paleeease! I just went to a Jane Austin movie with my sister tonight. And guess what? There were men there. Actually, it was a movie about a book club that reads only Jane Austin, and it ended up where the men in the women's lives discovered that they like Jane Austin novels, too. So go ahead. Cry. Women love that! It makes us want to take you in our arms and console you.

Mark Twain gave a definition of a good library:" A good library doesn't have to have any books. All that's required is that it has no books by Jane Austin."

I am reminded of ambrose Bierce's definition of the word"incompossible" "Two things are called incompossible if there is not enough room in the universe for the existence of both--as for example Walt Whitman's poetry and God's mercy to Man". (Incidentally, I love Walt Whitman).
