This is Mozart Piano Concerto in A Major K414, ANAM String Orchestra, John Harding conducting. Please help me out with any suggestions.
Wow! I would give you a standing ovation. The recording is perfect I think. You are a real pianist. I like your approach of this piece, nicely refined playing, and in my ears quite romantic. I would give you a 10/10. Btw, are you Benjamin Kopp? I just Googled and found these things: http://www.lev-vlassenko.com/contest1_05.htm#bk Benjamin Kopp Benjamin Kopp began learning the piano when he was three years old. Great to see you here (Many great pianists who submitted recordings didn't post here). Welcome![/list]
Perfectly played, conghratulations ! Very refined and sensitive. The dynamic range seems rather small, not sure if it is the recording or the playing - probably a bit of both. It just seems a bit underpowered and over-polite, but perhaps that was a choice you made. Do the orchestra play a string-only reduction ? They sound a bit tinny. Or it could be the recording that makes them sound like that. But again, great playing, and an enjoyable recording. We can put you up the site with this if you want !
