"Moments" no. 3: On a summer day.

My 3th moment, On a summer Day.

It was a hot summer day here in Sweden last year that inspired me to start this piece. Sweating from my walk outside I sat at the piano and started to play, again without even the idea of starting a new piece. Things just come sometimes without asking for it. It's a very light non dramatic piece, that stayed in my head long enough to work it out.

Wow, very nice. It reminds me of Liszt's style. I like the consistency, transitions and modulation, along with the fact that the title suited it well. Good job with the interpretation too.

 

Thanks! I am thinking of orchestrating it, again keeping it light. I orchestrated some of the other "Moments" as well and are busy with making a good sampler bounce in Logic.
