Hi... I am new to this forum.
To introduce myself shortly, I am a pianist, living at the moment in Bern. I was trained as a classical pianist, but I love also to play music in other style.
Here is a recording of one of my favorite piece by a rather less-well known composer, Medtner. His music deserves to be played more often. Have a listen, and let me know if you agree!! :)

Hi and welcome. I agree, Medtner is an awesome piano composer. Pity that most of his pieces are too difficult for an amateur to bring off sufficiently well. I've played a lot of his music, including most of the Fairy Tales, but never dared recording any except for the easy Ophelia's Song.

That is a good performance you give there. This is one of his more straightforward pieces but still quite a handful. Well done.

Well... would you like to share you recording also? :D

I wish people could play more of his music... It is a big pitty. :(

Sure, we have some Medtner recording on the site here http://pianosociety.com/cms/index.php?section=907
The second recording is mine, as is the text on the page. A recording of the Op.42 tales is still on my todo list.
