    Hello,

I was wondering if anyone could recommend a non-minimalist piano piece by a living composer. The level has to be roughly of associate diploma standard, and relatively short (not longer than 4 minutes, ideally). I'm not very familiar with new repertoire and am not sure where to start looking.

    Thanks.

Check out Kapustin, if you think you are up to some serious challenge. He is still alive AFAIK.

Hey, I was going to suggest that :x
Generally Kapustin is hard to bring off, partly because of his predilection for very fast tempi, but some of the Op.53 Preludes (mostly the quieter ones) are well within reach of the advanced amateur or student. I am not sure where 'associate diploma standard' puts you but there should be possibilities here.
