Nice, John. Good technique, dynamics, tempo...nothing to niggle. Is it me or does the first one sound like "Of Foreign Hills, or Lands of Foreign Hills, (title?) I could definitely hear the children scampering around on the second one. Thanks for starting my day with a smile.

Well done indeed, especially the pleading child. That ambiguous ending always makes one yearn for the next item. The catch me, which is more tricky than it sounds, is nicely done too, but I would have liked a little more give and take in the tempo, it's a bit rigidly played. Shame about the missed LH note in the first bar, a mistake so early spoils it a bit. Nice the way you accent these LH open fifths.

Thanks for listening. Chris, I was sick after I uploaded this post and listened to it. I didn't hear the slip in the first bar when I previewed it. I was probably "multi-tasking" and not paying close attention. My bad! If you wish, I will re-record it.

    Re: Schumann

Sick  It is not that bad.
And it is not about what I wish, its about what you wish. You know we don't deny any recordings just because of a little slip, but IMO a slip right at the start is not good and it may well keep irritating you forever when you listen back to it.

Good job John no matter the missing key in the "Catch me". I have put up the "Pleading child" in the meantime.
