Great to see more pianists making a case for Bach's undervalued Toccatas. This one is very well preformed, neither too baroque'ey or too romanticized. A model of good taste and flawless execution, a Bach recording for this age. Well done !

Great to hear something we don't hear very often. It was very beautifully played.

    Welcome to Piano Society!
Really beautifully played and I have everything but for your full name (which is not in your CV) to add you as a pianist and put your recording up.

Bohumír, I queue in what the other posters said already - beautiful playing!

Yeah, very well done. Only one question: can a baroque piece be played too baroque'ey? It is so, that (maybe only in Germany that intense) now there is a strong flow towards playing in "historical correct manner". This tocata sounds to me more romanticized, but I like it very much the way Bohumir played, so don't get me wrong. But the global tendency for playing as it was done in the baroque time (whoever knows that really?) - not only for organ baroque playing - is there...

I don't agree with this being crap. These Etudes and Polkas are great, I love playing them but never got around to recording them yet. I had never noticed this one ending in another key then it starts ! It comes so natural.

I have bit of a problem with naming this file, as this set has no opus number and there are multiple pieces with the same title and in the same key. Although there's only one Polka in E so it's no too bad yet.

Very well played of course ! Nice and sprigthly, just as it should be. Martinu must have been a great guy.

The Bach Toccata is on the site too.
If you have more things to submit, please use a separate posting if its another composer or genre. Only use multiple attachments in one posting if the pieces are from the same set.
