Beautifully played and also very mistake free. Sounds like you play with joy and ease. Can almost hear the grin on your face ;). The tempo is also good and the dynamics is not exaggerated in any way but feels like they fit the mood of Grieg's wonderful Slåtters.

The Liadov is also very good. Have not heard this piece before and but it feels to me as thoughtful melancolique. Reminds me of Chopin's raindrop prelude.

    Thx :D
By far not mistake-free, but I think it's getting better since I started posting. I do admit to cutting out the occasional wart if it is easy and possible to do so without disturbing the music (more often it's not). There may be 2 or 3 such edits in the Slatter. None in the Liadov - at least I can play one easy page without mistakes now

Yes, grinning audibly - that will be my gimmick from now. Indeed I love this stuff.

...I like the prelude. Can't comment on your play because I do not have the sheet music.

well palyed Mr. Breemer  I liked the prelude . Can you tell us about Ladov.....where is this person come from and what period? (sorry about my ignorance)

Do you play all the music once (including others) from time to time or kept recycling like myself untill its 100% polished.??I just curious about your approach to music.--do you move on to others once the recoding is done?

Liadov is not a very well-documented composer but you can read some about him right here on our own site. He's by now one of my favourite Russian piano composers and I get mad at the way he is still being neglected. Doing my own modest bit to change that...

I keep playing things after recording (because I love 'em) but move on as well. Always old stuff to recycle as well as new things to learn. I can't say I ever polish to 100% perfection (or even 90% hehehe) but I do usually work on pieces for some months before recording them. Didn't plan to record the Grieg and Granados yesterday though, that was an on-the-spur decision. Seems they were not in such bad shape.
