    After convincing myself that you really do play the piano by finding and watching some of your videos on YouTube (many of your posts aren't of you), then I was able to let my guard down and enjoyed your playing very much. :D

    Hello

    I don't get it. Are you saying that the recordings I post aren't played by me? Have you seen my blog? Why should I put my name in other work? Sorry, but my purpose is to be a pianist, and all the are recordings made by me.
    Anyway, thanks for the comment.

    Since you asked, I find this a hard-driven and indifferent performance, doing no justice to Gershwin's wit and lyricism. Good on the technical level, but not musically. Of course this is just one man's opinion ! I thought I hears some misreadings in the triplets in the 3rd piece.

    It's only that I'm always confused by finding sound files on YouTube when I expect to see a video. No I haven't seen your blog and -- no insult intended -- I haven't got the time or impulse to investigate everyone. Next time if you have a link to a YouTube video, all you'll get from me is what you want: reaction to the performance (which as I stated above, I enjoyed). (In case you don't know, we've had recent issues with pseudo-submissions that I was burned on (deceived)).

    Eddy, a great deal of stuff on YT is audio only. They just superpose one or more images and that's it.

    I know. But why then are we (PS) here? If a submitter wants us to review their audio performance -- and they're participating on our website -- why ask us to go elsewhere to review their work instead of just posting it here? In my mind, it is so as to also see them perform. Just my opinion.

    Could be any number of reasons. Many people only have their stuff on YT and maybe have not even got an mp3 to submit. I also understand that many people post on YT without actually shooting video. I do that, too, making a video is a lot of work. It's not a big deal as long as they submit an mp3 when they want it to go on the site.
