My final retake of Fauré's Barcarolle No. 10 in A minor, Op.104 No.2. this time with a video as well. It will be possible to spot one or two impurities... absolute perfection is going to elude me unle4ss I can do some editing which I did not do here. I hope this one is ok at last. Now I wish I could sit STILL while playing instead of rocking back and forth... all attempts to cut that habit have failed so far.

Wonderful. You have a great sense of the big picture here and the voices (both outer and inner) sing beautifully. I thought it was well interpreted and very moving. I don't remember if I heard the other takes of this one but I do think spending longer on a piece is well worth the investment of time.

Thank you Heather. Yes it's good to spend more time with a piece, and re-recording seems to become more and more a necessity. I would not pretend to be finished with this one but I think I can leave well enough alone and move one.
