Expert technician wanted

    I have a new Steinway Model A. It's wonderful, but I have reservations about two rather 'wooden' bass notes. Steinway have been twice to little real effect, and I would really like the name of a top man who knows all there is to know about toning etc. who would be prepared to give an opinion and do remedial work if appropriate. Anybody have a name? I am in St Albans Hertfordshire, UK (easy access from London!)

    I guess nobody had an answer to your question.... If Steinway themselves can't fix it, is there any hope that a nearby technician can come and help you out, I wonder ?
