Ok, sort of another quality test! I thin I got it played pretty good, but want your opinions anyway! I know the tuning might not be %100, but hoping it's closer than sometimes. I'm hoping to get a tuning soon. I know it needs it. It's an older piano. But, how does the recording quality work for everyone? Imagine it on a tuned instrument. I think this is a better recording than some I have put up. I recorded this for a friend who loves this piece. Also for your listening pleasure, here is the Missouri Southern State University fall concert based in Joplin, MO.
Hi, I like the pacing of your playing. I think the recording needs more nuance in the dynamics in the beginning and middle sections. Towards the end you played the dynamics in a dreamier manner which was effective. Kaila I'm reposting my comment - for reasons unknown, my initial post appeared as a comment posted by new member Dario Dalla Mura. The same technical glitch occurred when I posted to the Chopin Ballade No. 4 Op. 52 submitted by Vladimir Oppenheim.
That's the most positive comment from this page I've received yet! Thanks! I will probably re-record it sometime, if I can find it! Thanks!
