Does anyone have the orchestral reduction for a second piano of Chopin's Op.21? Can't seem to find this anywhere, and I kind of need to find it soon or alternatively buy... I mean, it does exist doesn't it? Please help if you do.
I have it. Not sure if this is what you mean. Schirmer edition - Chopin Op. 21 Conerto in F minor - Two piano score. The book I have is distributed by Hal Leonard. Can't really send it to you since it's 87 pages. But it does exist.
i think I have that version at home on one of my CDs. I can send it to you when I get back to my house (right now I am on campus 14 miles away ). Just PM me with your email and I will attach it for you if the size is not too large and if I actually have it. (70% chance I do because I have about 40 or so Piano Concertos / Trio-Chamber music from various composers arranged in 2 piano or 1 piano versions.) -JG
Thanks both of you. I sent you a PM juufa. At this stage any edition will do, just as long as I can get practicing with a friend/teacher. Also, the first movement is all I'm after for now. Would there be compatibility issues if I use the sheet music archive edition with another for the second piano? Like, could an edition (of this concerto) vary so much that entire bars would be missing that are there in another (making it somewhat difficult to keep in time)?
http://www.amazon.com/Piano-Concertos-N ... F8&s=books This edition has a very good orchestral reduction. It's currently out of print; I suggest you pester a bookseller or look on ebay. Pete
