Just one little mazurka for today. I wasn't going to record anything this weekend, but I was so excited from seeing F.C's name up here yesterday  that I just had to play this. Comments appreciated. :)

Lovely as usual, you have a bright-eyed and straightforward Mazurka style. We'll need to discuss some read errors (which may also be edition differences) but otherwise, nothing to improve here.

    F.C.

It is very obvious that you love F.C. I found nothing to "niggle" about. Of course, I'm not the "Mazurka Expert." It was lovely.

Very good played, in your typical playing style what I would describe as clear sounding, played with a firm touch, and yes, like Chris said already, straightforward.

It is interesting to realize in what different interpretations Chopins Mazurkas can be played, and all are valid. There is for sure not only a single truth how they should be interpreted.

Ops! I did put up this on the site yesterday but forgot to comment or anything .

The recording is as usual very good Monica and I put it up because of that despite a reading error or two (at least I think I heard that).
