    I have a strong feeling it's Chopin... Almost 100%... Like... 99.99999999999999999999% and all I can offer is this short little passage of the melody (which is in the wrong key, though I can tell you it's minor, and possibly incorrect) but it's the next song I'd like to add to my repertoire, and I can't find it anywhere. I believe It's a waltz... Darn!!!

    I think your melody is an approximation of the opening theme (not the intro; the answer to the first statement) of the Ballade No.1 in G Minor.
