    Dear All,
Please find a well-known piece of the guitar repertoire. It was originally written for guitar and string quartet. The famous guitarist Julian Bream made an arrangement for guitar and harpsichord. With my old friend Olivier Saltiel, we have played it in several concerts we gave this summer in small churches in the French country. For once, I am giving a link to a video, so that you can see my 'postiche' harpsichord (a P120 Yamaha keyboard wrapped in a nice wooden box). This is not the deepest music in the world, but quite a nice Spanish type fantasy... I hope you'll enjoy it !

What memories this brings back! This piece was on the first CD that I owned; I no longer remember why my wife and I had it when we bought our first CD player around 1990, but this was the first thing we listened to.

I love your 'postiche' harpsichord. While you're at it, perhaps you could give it a little a little horizontal sound board (fake, of course).

I will tell this to the people who made (and painted) the box. Yes it lacks a tail to resemble to a real harpsichord, however the idea was to keep a compact and easy-to-move instrument. Hence it has more the dimensions of a virginal (while the keyboard is much wider !).

    Thanks Monica ! Regards,

How wonderful! Particularly enjoyed how you had a real dialogue with each other - great collaboration.

Thanks David. Actually this was the fourth concert we gave and we were starting to play with each other (although we have previously only one opportunity to practice together).

    Dear Administrators,
Should this recording goes to limbo or is it just a forgetting ? Wouldn't be worth uploading it e.g. in the Chamber Music section ? Thanks,

Sorry, Francois, I did forget about you. I'm very busy and won't have time to put this up until the weekend, but I will then for sure!

And you did as promissed ! Thanks for that. May I tell you about a small spelling error (Boccerini is noted instead of Boccherini in my page) ?
    Have a good week-end,
    François
