Re: Sonatina in F Major , 1st Mvt Hello and welcome to Piano Society. But sorry, this forum is for auditioning recordings, not for putting up Youtube links. You may put this in the Repertoire forum, but I do not care to watch your video for more than two seconds because it is sideways. You really should correct that!
Re: Sonatina in F Major , 1st Mvt Not only is it sideways, but appears to be recorded off a mirror reflection... For a minute there I thought "I really shouldn't have had that last beer!" :? Or better yet, maybe this is a novelty piano of some sort where left to right goes high to low! Mr. Wood (if that's your name) - Disregarding the odd video choice, it appears you can actually play the piano and obviously have put in some time practicing. Should you really be serious about getting some feedback from us and auditioning for the site, I think you'll find PS a very valuable resource. The group here, many quite accomplished pianists, often provide very valuable (if admitedly direct) advice and comments on submitted recordings. That said, some friendly advice would be to browse a bit and read the FAQs, etc, before jumping in with a post. As Monica mentioned, you can post in the Repertoire forum but the whole sideways-mirror thing I fear is going to detract from the performance and make it difficult for some folks to take you seriously. Sincerely, Matt
Re: Sonatina in F Major , 1st Mvt Mr. Wood, (I'm assuming this is your surname) Welcome to the forum, though we like more formal introductions here, "happy listening" with a hotlink is a bit hasty, no :?: I liked your playing, but have to agree with Matt and Monica. Who, it seems, have read you the riot act  Don't know if you saw this page on the Main Site, check it out: http://pianosociety.com/cms/index.php?section=15 we ask for 3 mp3 submissions of classical pieces for piano. Maybe we ought to add "must be from planet earth" to the recording guideline page. I have to admit, when I saw the beginning of the video I was halfway convinced you were from an another planet  One where the pull of gravity is left > right not up V down (what you and I are used to ) Look forward to your mp3 recording(s) if you are serious about becoming a member here. -Riley
